By a staff reporter: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned Amit Agarwal, head of Amazon India, over allegations of malpractice in a deal with Future Group. In 2019, Future Retail signed an agreement worth Rs 1,400 crore with Amazon. The deal violates the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), which is why the head of Amazon India has been summoned.
