BSF evacuated pregnant woman to hospital by BSF ambulance

By a Staff  Reporter: BSF is always ready for help the border population along with protecting the borders of the country. A humanitarian work has been done by 99 Battalion BSF in the border area of district- North 24 Parganas on Saturday. On 19 June, 2021, Rinku Santra of village Kulia told to in-charge of Border Out Post Ranghat that her daughter-in-law is pregnant and having labor pains. On which the Out Post in-charge immediately sent BSF ambulance along with the nursing assistant to Rinku Santra's house. And a pregnant woman named Durga Santra was admitted by ambulance to the Bagdaha Government Hospital where the doctor on duty gave her the necessary treatment.

 When the condition of the pregnant woman became normal, she was brought back to her home by the ambulance of BSF. The father-in-law of the pregnant woman, Rinku Santra, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to BSF and said that whenever we ask for any help from the Border Security Force, they always help us.

 Shri Ravi Kant, Commanding Officer of 99 Battalion BSF expressed happiness over this commendable work of the troops, and said that Border Security Force is with the border residents in every happiness and sorrow along with curbing the crimes on the border. Due to which the relationship between BSF and civil public are becoming more cordial.
