BY A STAFF REPORTER: Seeking phone, the minor sold his wife. It sounds amazing, but that's true. A 17-year-old man from Orissa reportedly sold his 26-year-old wife to a 55-year-old man in Rajasthan. Odisha police have already rescued the woman and detained the teenager. Sources said the teenager got married to the woman in July this year. Then in August, the young man went to Rajasthan with a woman, where he got a worker's job in a brick kiln. A Belpada police official said that a few days later, the teenager sold the woman to a man in Baran district of Rajasthan for Rs 1.8 lakh to buy expensive phones.
