Spread Happiness Foundation's Child Awareness Program

2nd Oct 2021,on the occasion of the holy Gandhi and Shastri Jayanti, a children's awareness and Gandhi memorial service was

organized by Spread Happiness Foundation,a Pune based voluntary organization, at the premises of Bishwa Bharati Residential High School

in Bellguntha Block Gobra.

In the first phase of the program, a quiz on Gandhi's biography was held among the students of the school.



In the second phase, the Gandhi Memorial Ceremony was held under the chairmanship of Soumya Ranjan Mohapatra, President of the Spread Happiness Foundation.

Abhimanyu Dalai, President of the Bellguntha News Literary House Gobara Branch, was the chief guest at the event along with Mr Arun Kumar Mahapatra who was virtually present,

for lighting a lamp and delivering speeches on the biographies of Gandhi and Shastri.

Gopal Chandra Lenka, President of Upendra Bhanj Sahitya Parishad, was the key note speaker

Speaking on the occasion of Gandhiji’s inauguration on the ground, World Bharati President Kunjbihari Nayak joined as the guest of honor and spoke on

Gandhi’s simple life.

Trinath Behera, Odisha Coordinator of the Spread Happiness Foundation, was one of the guests to read the biography of the great man.

While encouraging students for the organization.Akhil Jena, a member of the organization, said that students should always follow the Gandhi's path for getting success in life.

Around 29 students took part in the quiz program based on Gandhiji's Equality Policy without any competitive place.

The students were felicitated with letters of commendation from Spread Happiness Foundation.

On the occasion, the Chief Guest Shri Dalai presented the award to the lucky winner of the program Hitesh and the Upendra Bhanj Sahitya Parishad.

Soumya Ranjan Mohapatra President, Spread Happiness Foundation, Trinath Behera, Odisha Coordinator, and Akhil Jena, Member, were honored by the Upendra Bhanja Sahitya Parisada and President of the School, Mr. Nayak, presented medals and books of Pandit Nilakathha Dash.



Student Ankita sang the opening song while Shishir Kumar Swayam, a member of the institute,felicitated the guests.

He also thanked the school teachers Bholanath Rath, Babu Behera and staff Govind Pradhan and Khadal for their full support in organizing the program.
