Sundarbans Development Minister visits Muriganga Dam to deal with cyclone

By a staff reporter: The state has been active in dealing with the cyclone. The Weather department said there was a possibility of heavy rains in Kolkata and the other areas due to the storm. It has been raining since Sunday morning. So Sundarbans Development Minister Bankim Hazra visited the dam at Bankim Nagar in Sagar. The villagers said that the dam which was damaged due to Yass will be flooded due to the cyclone this time. The minister assured that the damaged dam would be repaired soon.
