BY A STAFF REPORTER: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated the Global Millets (Shri Anna) Summit at Pusa in New Delhi. PM Says, "I am proud that India is leading the 'International Year of Millets'. Events such as the Global Millets Conference are not only essential for the global good, but also one of the symbols of India's growing commitment to the global good. It is a matter of great honour for us that after india's proposal and efforts, the United Nations has declared 2023 as the 'International Year of Millets'. More than 75 lakh farmers from India are present with us at the event today. '
