Great Barrier Reef is losing corals over the years

FROM OUR CORRESPONDENT

Corals have declined in Australia's Great Barrier Reef.  More than half of its corals have been lost since 1995 due to warmer seas driven by climate change, according to scientists who had carried out a survey.

The steepest falls came after mass bleaching events in 2016 and 2017. More mass bleaching occurred this year.
