​By A Staff Reporter: The gunman who killed seven people at a Jerusalem synagogue initially managed to escape but was later shot dead, police said. Seven people were killed in a terrorist attack on a synagogue in Jerusalem, Israel. And maybe 10 people were injured. Police said the terrorists drove into a building used as a nearby synagogue in the northern part of East Jerusalem and opened fire indiscriminately. The attack came a day after nine people were killed by Israeli forces in western Palestine.
