Ahead of Delhi's civic poll, BJP's master plan revealed

BY A STAFF RERPOTER:
Ahead of the Delhi civic polls, the BJP presented its master plan for the revival of colonies, slums and residential areas in the capital through a press conference. On Wednesday, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said that, 'Soon 50 lakh people of Delhi will be benefited under the PM UDAY scheme. A few days ago, Prime Minister Modi handed over the keys of the houses for the poor built in Kalkaji to the beneficiaries. There will be more housing projects this time. The central government has worked in the housing scheme where there are slums. According to the 2011 census, the population of Delhi was estimated at 1.67 crore. Now, with the next census, Delhi's population will be more than 2 crore. Our projects which are currently operational will have 10 lakh beneficiaries under 'Jhuggi Wahan Makan'. We have also given some statistics in the manifesto. '
