BY A STAFF REPORTER: Union Minister Anurag Thakur was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the 59th Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union General Assembly on Tuesday. During this time Anurag Thakur also advised the media. The Union Minister said, 'Media needs to report with responsibility in cases of earthquake, fire&terrorist attacks. Media must ensure that live reporting in case of terrorist attack shouldn't provide clues to attackers & facilitate their ill motives. Indian broadcasters and Indian media, in general, ensured that #COVID19 awareness messages, important govt guidelines and free online consultations where doctors reached everyone, in every nook and corner of this country.'
