A portion of a foot-overbridge (FOB) collapsed at a railway station in Maharashtra's Chandrapur district on Sunday evening. Around 15 people were reportedly injured in the incident. According to police, a 48-year-old woman died after the slab collapsed. Meanwhile, the Central Railway (CR) has started an investigation to find out the cause of the accident. According to the police, the incident took place around 5 pm when the slab of the fob collapsed between platform number 1 and platform number 2. As a result, at least 15 people fell on the railway line using the bridge at that time.
