BY A STAFF REPORTER:
The death toll from monday's earthquake in Indonesia is increasing rapidly. The death toll from the 5.6-magnitude earthquake in Indonesia's Sianjur region has risen to 271. However, a six-year-old child was rescued alive from a debris on Wednesday after surviving for more than two days under the rubble, rescuers said. Indonesia's National Agency for Disaster Management (BNPB) said rescuers rescued Maulana Malik, a resident of Ajka in the village of Nagrak in Kugenang subdistrict, Sayanjur Regency.
