International Dussehra Meet

online magazine Shreyashi organised a fresh edition of Puja multilingual meet with the moderate gathering of poets from different parts of country and overseas .The two hours long meet began with the chanting of hymns from the Veda by Suren Kumar Mahapatra from Ramnagar College . Hansa Deep story-writer cum poet from Toronto ,Canada was in lime light and share her thoughts regarding life and literature . Rana Zaman was connected from Dhaka ,Bangladesh . Gobind Paul read sayeries and one parody in Bengali that fetch massive response .His recent publication of a book of poems in Hindi entitled "Mahaz Ye Virus Nahin "and one award "Rajbhasa Samman" 2022 by "Villai Ispat Sanyantra" were in focus. Deb Kumar Mukhopadhyay from Kolkata , both Kshdiram Naskar and Rofika Sultana from South 24 Praganas read poems in Bengali . Debasish Sarkhel from Purulia read short story. Putul Maity from Karanji Subhas Vidya Bhavan , Anusri Maity , a student from Ramnagar college recited poems. Ranu Mukherjee from Gujarat read poem in both Hindi and Bengali . Dr.Gagan Ch.De Prof from Sabang College recited poem in Sanskrit that metamorphosed the meet . Manojit Das from Mahisadal read translation and threw light on noted Indian English poet Risi Aurobindo .Yoga Guru , blogger and poet Sanatan Mahakud , Dr.Biswojit Pattnaik from Kharagpur , Dr. Niranjan Behera from Baliapal read poems in Odia . Sampriti Maity's Agomoni song applauded by all . Nilkamal Jana , an official in Indian Army , share about his memories from Jammu and Kashmir . In the book review episode the editor of the magazine placed a brief whereabouts of the collection of short stories under the title "Nirbachito Golpo Sankalon Utso Mahabharat" (the selected short stories from the source of the Mahabharat ) by Dr. Ananta Mohan Mishra . In spite of being a principal of an institution named Ramnagar college Dr. Mishra is a prolific writer. His current publication can revive and revitalize the moral teachings laid hidden across the pages of The Mahabharat .This sort of endeavour from Dr. Mishra would definitely help the readers to rediscover key issues overlooked in early reading of the Mahabharat . Swapan Kumar Pahari,Goutam Patra , Debasish Das and others were connected to this programme .
