Croatia bus crash: Twelve Polish pilgrims killed and 33 injured

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Twelve Polish pilgrims have been killed when a bus overturned in Croatia. Another 33 people were injured. There were casualties on Saturday after being knocked off the road leading to Jarek Bissaki and Podvorek in the northeast of Zagreb. 



Poland's foreign minister said the victims were on their way to Medjugorz, a Catholic suburb in Bosnia, when the accident occurred around 5:40 a.m. local time. The passengers on the bus were all adults. The injured have been admitted to the hospital. It is not yet clear how the accident occurred.
