I accept the decision but 30-30 seat sharing would have been good for us: Patton

I accept the decision of the central leadership, quipped Nagaland deputy chief minister Y Patton, putting a lid to the seat adjustment controversy. Speaking exclusively to ANM News, Patton said Nagaland has been able to implement central government schemes and policies effectively paving the way for development of remote areas. ``There is no Hindu-christian enmity in Nagaland. We are leaving in peace. There is  widespread development in the North East,'' he said. ``I wanted lotus to bloom in Nagaland and would have preferred a 30-30 seat sharing formula,'' he added. BJP-NDPP are in power in Nagaland and the saffron party's central leadership promised chief minister and NDPP leader Neiphiu Rio a 40-20 seat sharing formula in the coming elections.
