BY A STAFF REPORTER: The polling process for assembly bypolls has begun in four constituencies of Tripura amidst tight security. In Tripura, the battle for the by-elections to Agartala, Town Baradwali, Surma and Yuvrajnagar assembly seats has begun.
From the new chief minister Manik Saha to the Congress' Sudip Roy Barman, the fight has been joined. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Manik Saha cast his vote. He is contesting the Town Bardowali seat. In 2018, Ashish Saha had won from that constituency for the BJP.
